This is the most adorable animal that we guarantee you’ve never heard of.
The aardwolf comes from the same family as the hyena – yes, we spotted the similarities too!
Native to East and Southern Africa, the aardwolf lives in underground burrows and eats termites.
In fact, their long, sticky tongues can eat up to 200,000 of the insects every night.
Usually they’re nocturnal but, in the winter, they save their energy at night and feed in the day.
Did we mention that they are insanely cute?
