Baking is most definitely a work of art.
But this pastry chef has taken things to new heights.
Dinara Kasko was previously an architect, but decided to give baking a try.
The result? Incredible geometric and intricate model cakes that are almost too elegant to eat.
In her latest work, Dinara took inspiration from engineer and artist Matthew Shilan, who’s well known for his use of uniquely-shaped objects to make a single piece of art.
Dinara’s dessert has 81 intricate, individual-shaped cakes filled with ganache, meringue, berry confit and a crunchy biscuit.
It’s also draped in gloriously pink ruby chocolate.
The final product is truly beautiful, and deserves to be placed in an art gallery – though we’ll settle for our stomachs instead.
