Artist Bruce Mackley has absolutely nailed these incredible 3D portraits.
The exhibition, named Descent, is an incredible collection of mosaic images, created with 20,000 screws.
That’s right-  twenty thousand screws.
Mackley spent hundreds of hours perfecting the portraits, placing screws at different depths into a pine board which gave him the desired effect of a female figure.
We wish we had his patience!
According to the artist, the pieces also appeal to a wide variety of demographics, including men who aren’t usually interested in art.
He explains: “They’d walk up, discover what it was made from, then, bang, they could identify with the art. It really affected some guys in the trades. Super cool.”
