When most of us start a resolution, we tend to give it up after a fortnight.
But Cristian Marianciuc, a paper artist, has stuck with his for a whopping 1,000 days.
In 2015, Cristian started an ambitious project of creating origami art every day and each paper bird is a visual diary.

He originally planned to do it for 100 days but then to celebrate the Japanese tradition of ‘senbazuru’, he created 1,000 cranes in 1,000 days.
That’s 2 years, 8 months, 3 week and 5 days.

“It took lots of courage, determination and discipline but also patience and an open mind.” Cristian wrote on Bored Panda.
“I learned to pay attention to things I would have otherwise overlooked, I learned new creative skills.”
