Meet Daniele Barresi, a 26-year-old award-winning food art connoisseur from Italy.
Daniele carves incredibly intricate sculptures out of fruit, vegetables and other food.
He’s been carving since he was seven years old, but it was only when he started working in a kitchen as a cook that he realised his passion for food art.
Since then, he’s created some incredible designs using food like pumpkin, broccoli, watermelon – and even cheese.
Normally, we’d be outraged at such a waste of dairy goodness.
But we’ll let him off because his work is pretty good.
Unsurprisingly, Daniele’s art has won him worldwide acclaim.
Since 2013, he’s won numerous gold medals in carving championships around the world.
Speaking to BoredPanda, Daniele said: “When I touch my knife, my mind gives up to the heart and it transmits directly to the hands, giving different forms to the decorations.
“It’s like magic.”
Take a look at some of Daniele’s creations below.
