This bundle of fluff has finally found his forever home after he had a ruff start to life.
Puppy Petey was so emaciated and weak after being abandoned in a park that vets thought he’d died.
He was also diagnosed with cerebella hypoplasia which means the part of his brain which controls motor skills and coordination hasn’t fully developed – so walking and eating were difficult tasks for adorable Petey.
But staff at Sacramento SPCA refused to give up on the tiny pup and they gave him daily physical therapy.
Now he has a new leash of life – he’s able to eat by himself and walk around, despite his clumsiness.
Petey has consistently proved that you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover.
Now he’s found his forever home after being adopted by a couple who love him – paws and all.
Petey has a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia which can make him a little clumsy.
