For many years, the John Lewis advert has been a staple of Christmas tradition for people in the UK.

It’s so successful due to its great production, which is often designed to tug at your heartstrings.

The ad, which was created by Michel Gondry, is reported to have cost a whopping £7 million.
In the 2017 festive advert, which was debuted this week, it depicts a young child who is scared of a monster living underneath his bed.

The clip shows that over time they become friends, and every night when the child goes to bed, they have a great time together.

#MozTheMonster turns out to be an adorable companion to the child, and is now available to purchase at John Lewis stores.

We think it’s a heartwarming story which definitely gets you in the spirit for Christmas!
